Custom Stage and Backdrop Design

The centrepiece of the celebration was a custom hot air balloon backdrop, framed by a white 3D window arch and a second white window arch lettered in gold with the phrase “A Little Explorer Is On The Way.” A rippled arch added dimension to the display, while decorative cloud props and vintage luggage pieces reinforced the journey and exploration theme throughout the stage.

A brown loveseat bench gave the parents to be a dedicated seat for photos and gift opening, set against large white and gold cake stands that anchored the dessert display.

Organic Balloon Styling in Sage Green, Brown, and Soft Yellow

Balloon styling throughout the studio followed an organic, garland-style installation in sage green, brown, and light brown, with soft yellow accents woven in to match the Little Explorer concept. The earthy, muted palette was chosen deliberately to evoke a warm, adventurous atmosphere rather than a traditional pastel baby shower look, giving the celebration a vintage-travel feel that carried from the stage through to the guest tables.

Pastel Floral and Pampas Grass Accents

Floral design balanced the earthy balloon tones with soft, elegant pastel arrangements, paired with natural pampas grass for texture. The combination softened the stage backdrop and carried through to the guest tables, adding a refined layer to the vintage-travel theme without competing with the balloon installation or the gold lettered arch.

Tablescape Styling and Seating for 60 Guests

Guest seating was arranged across four long rectangular banquet tables dressed in white linens, with 60 chairs set 15 to a side for a comfortable, connected shower layout. Each table carried the theme through to the smallest details, with balloon centrepieces, small pastel floral arrangements finished with pampas grass, and sets of three elegant candles at every place setting. Coordinated balloon styling tied every table back to the stage, giving guests a cohesive Little Explorer experience from the moment they sat down.
