Styld Spaces Event Studio is a wedding and event venue located in Scarborough, Ontario, offering venue rental, décor, catering, and event services for couples across the GTA. On March 28, 2026, Sean and Kate celebrated their wedding here with 97 of their closest family and friends. This is a look at their day, and at what a Styld Spaces wedding looks like in practice.
Their Vision: White, Dusty Blue, and a Lot of Heart
Sean and Kate knew what they wanted. A white and dusty blue palette, crystal and acrylic accents, warm candlelight, and classic florals that felt timeless without being stiff. From the moment we started planning with them, it was clear this was a couple with a real sense of who they are and what they wanted their day to feel like.
Because all of our styling is handled in-house, we were able to work closely with Sean and Kate through every decision — from the arch at the ceremony to the final table centrepiece. That kind of continuity makes a real difference. Nothing gets lost in translation between vendors, and the result is a space that feels cohesive and intentional from every angle.

Sean and Kate wanted something simpler than that. Their ceremony and reception happened in the same space. Styling, catering, and entertainment were coordinated by one team. And for their 97 guests, the evening felt effortless — which is exactly what we aim for. We want couples to be present on their wedding day, not managing logistics.




The Ceremony Setup
The ceremony space was designed around the couple’s vision of romance and warmth. A 3D square wedding arch with a chandelier served as the centrepiece, framing the couple as they exchanged their vows. Six tall acrylic floral stands and six coordinated arrangements in white and dusty blue filled the room with soft colour.
An elegant aisle runner led guests through the space, flanked by gold candleholders dressed with white florals. The entrance featured a gold stand with sheer curtain draping, creating a sense of arrival that set the mood before guests even found their seats. A half-circle platform stage gave every guest a clear view of the ceremony, and the podium styling added a finishing touch that tied everything together.
The Reception: Moving Seamlessly into the Celebration
One of the things we hear most often from couples is how much they appreciate not having to move their guests to a second location. After the ceremony, the Styld Spaces team transitions the venue into the reception — and that shift is something couples and guests always notice.
For Sean and Kate’s reception, the same 3D chandelier arch framed a white and gold loveseat on the stage, reserved for the couple. Acrylic floral stands anchored the stage on both sides, and the head table featured full acrylic styling that carried the modern, soft aesthetic through the room.
Eight round guest tables were dressed in white tablecloths with dusty blue napkins and crystal centrepiece stands. Each arrangement combined white, beige, and dusty blue florals, surrounded by three candles. Table number styling and a fully set tablescape meant every detail was in place before guests sat down.
In-House Catering That Matches the Occasion

That means fewer vendors to coordinate, a more consistent experience on the day, and a presentation that actually reflects the care put into every other part of the event.
For Sean and Kate’s reception, the buffet setup was styled to complement the event aesthetic — dinner plates, wine glasses, cutlery, and neatly folded napkins arranged with the same attention given to the florals and table settings. The food service was not an afterthought. It was part of the experience.
Entertainment That Made the Room Come Alive
Great design sets the stage, but what really fills a wedding with energy is the people and the atmosphere they feel around them. Sean and Kate’s reception featured a professional emcee, DJ, and live singer — a combination that kept the evening moving and the dance floor full.
Two specialty effects added some special moments during the reception: a dry ice machine created a dreamy low-lying mist for key parts of the evening, and cold sparkle effects added a bit of theatre to the celebration. These touches are available to all couples booking at Styld Spaces and are the kind of details that turn a beautiful evening into a genuinely memorable one.

What types of events can I host at Styld Spaces?
We host all kinds of private events — Weddings, bridal showers, engagement parties, birthday parties, baby showers, gender reveals, quinceañeras, sweet sixteens, graduation celebrations, corporate team events, celebrations of life, photoshoots, product launches, and more. If you need a fully private space in Scarborough or Toronto, we can make it work.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Our 2,500 sq. ft. venue with 18 ft. ceilings can comfortably accommodates up to 100 guests, including a dance floor. Contact us with your guest count and we’ll confirm the best layout for your event.

Your rental includes:
Elegant 2,500 sq. ft. venue (18 ft. ceilings) accommodating up to 100 guests, with dance floor, hardwood floors, mirrors, draped backdrop, and crystal chandelier.
Complete event setup including gold chairs, tables, table covers, podium, and stage risers.
Built-in AV & entertainment: surround sound system, DJ booth, microphones, projector & screen, TV, Wi-Fi, YouTube Premium, and party lighting.
Functional amenities: bar area, receiving area, change room, staff room, two washrooms, and fridge access.
Event support included: pre-event consultation, venue coordinator, on-site attendant, setup, and cleanup.
Added convenience: 5-hour rental + 1-hour early access, free unlimited parking, security cameras, and décor rental discounts.
Is decor included or customizable?
Yes! We currently have a promotion for complimentary decor and we have an extensive list of options for backdrops, centerpieces, linens, balloon styling, and event props to match your theme for events in Toronto and the GTA.
Can we bring our own food or caterer?
Absolutely. Our Venue Only package allows you to bring any restaurant, chef, or catering company at no extra cost. We also offer in-house catering for a fully managed dining experience — the choice is yours.
Is alcohol allowed at the venue?
Please contact us directly for details on alcohol policies and any applicable licensing requirements. We’ll walk you through everything when you book.
Do you provide staff during the event?
Yes — every booking includes an on-site venue attendant and coordinator who ensures your event runs smoothly from start to finish. Catering packages include serving staff as well.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes — we have free, unlimited on-site parking for all your guests. No meters, no time limits. The venue is also TTC accessible for guests coming by transit.
Can we visit the venue before booking?
Yes, we encourage venue tours! Contact us to schedule a walkthrough so you can see the space, ask questions, and confirm it’s right for your event before you commit.
Do you do wedding ceremonies and receptions?
Yes — Styld Spaces is well-suited for intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. Our space accommodates up to 100 guests with a dance floor, full AV, and all the decor elements needed for an elegant celebration.
Is setup and cleanup included?
Yes — setup and cleanup are included in all rental packages. Your 1-hour early access is dedicated to pre-event setup so you’re ready when guests arrive.
Do you offer an all-inclusive package?
Yes — our All-Inclusive package covers the venue, in-house catering, and full designer decor with one point of contact, one invoice, and no surprise add-ons. See our Packages page for full details.
Are pets allowed?
We understand that pets are part of the family! Pets may be allowed upon prior approval. If approved, they must be accompanied by a designated pet sitter at all times and kept on a leash or in a cage. Please note that applicable cleaning fees or any damages will be charged accordingly.
